Yesterday was a big day for media, as we did interviews with Space.com and Wired. Both have done pieces on Axanar in the past and the lawsuit of course has created greater interest in Axanar. Space.com did the first big national piece on Prelude to Axanar in 2014 and it got picked up on Yahoo, which really helped drive interest.
The Wired magazine article will be online, and Winston & Strawn attorney Erin Ranahan, joined me to discuss the lawsuit as well as where Axanar is at the moment. Both articles will be out shortly.
These are two big articles that our PR dynamic duo of Morey Altman and Mike Bawden set up. We really are lucky to have two such amazing PR pros working for Axanar.
Meanwhile, Axanar prop make Thomas Moore is working on this amazing USS Ares laser cut wood model for donors. It comes complete with an Ares Arrowhead wood base and information plaque. This is just an early draft, so not complete. Pretty cool!
