Who We Are
History
Our very first time rescuing was when Alec Peters and Crysstal Hubbard found a Belgian Malinois mama and all of her puppies. They raised the pups, got them vaccinated and fixed, and sent them to their forever homes. Although our rescue began with dogs, our intake has grown to be mostly cats and kittens. We have been working on saving cats for several years now, and have grown into a full-blown cat rescue! We now have an amazing team of volunteers who foster, bottle-feed, and TNR (Trap-Neuter-Release). We now have a sister rescue, Odd Paws Rescue. Since 2017, we have saved hundreds of lives and will continue to save more.
Values
We firmly believe that every stray deserves a second chance at life. We do everything we can to promote healthy and happy lifestyles for our furry friends. Our TNR services help to reduce the number of new stray kittens, while we work on rescuing the ones we already have. We love having our furry friends with foster parents, socializing and house training. We have a strong desire to save every animal we can, while allowing them to grow up in a home environment.Â
Goals
We currently have a partnership with Pet Supplies Plus and PetSense, where we can adopt out our rescues. We would love to expand our rescue and save as many pet lives as possible. We aim to one day having a facility to host some of our furry friends, and we would love to build an even bigger team of foster parents and volunteers. Overall, we want to leave an impact and touch the hearts of our community. Not only does our rescue help animals, but we also help with the overpopulation of felines in our area and produce healthier living environments for everyone.Â
