The Axanar Wheels Keep on Turnin’!

It’s been awhile since I checked in with everyone here on the blog, which means one thing: I have been BUSY.

Busy working from home, busy working on the road (our last con of 2015–that we know of, anyway!–was a couple of weeks ago), and busy working at the studio!


What exactly has been going on in the Fulfillment area of my world? SO MUCH. 🙂

PRELUDE to AXANAR fulfillment is now considered complete, for starters! (Yes, there will still be a few stragglers out there — accounts with issues, such as missing info; backers the BackerKit system has just plain lost or misfiled, seemingly at random 😛 ; and the occasional Paypal donor or in-between-platforms donation for which I didn’t receive notification of [and thus didn’t get printed out and logged]–but with 99.something-something percent delivered, it feels like a major WIN around here. 🙂 )

What’s up next, fulfillment-wise? PLENTY.

The “Secret Perks” from the AXANAR Indiegogo campaign (those three, special one-day offers held during the last week of the active phase of the campaign, involving offers on items we already have on hand, from previous campaigns) will be shipping out, as soon as Terry (tech specialist extraordinaire to Axanar Productions) is able to fine-tune Ares Digital to the point where he can output the appropriate lists for me. (Understand that Christmas delivery is NOT guaranteed–hey, I have no direct access to either Santa OR the Great Shipping Gods of the Universe–but will try to get as many packages on their way, with the utmost haste, as is humanly possible. 🙂 )

The patches from the AXANAR Kickstarter will also be going out, as we are able. (I’ll have an assistant or two working on labeling and sending out all those stuffed envelopes that have been obnoxiously crowding my meager desk space for the past few months, and believe me… I cannot wait!!!!)

And, of course, there are always the “Donors Store” orders… those extra-cool pieces of AXANAR that you might have missed from earlier campaigns, or that have been created specifically for the special donors-only area. Getting those out is always a priority, and typically the first thing I work on each morning (outside of meetings and other production work) when I get to the studio.

 

Other News, Reminders, and Stuff:

We here at Axanar Productions changed our EMAIL accounts more than a year ago–although the old/original accounts were technically still open (just rarely, if ever, checked)–and those old accounts have now been closed down, entirely, to save a few pennies (okay, quite a few bucks) each month. So, although we’ve been listing the current email addresses all year, there are apparently still a lot of folks who didn’t notice the change… which is why I’m reminding you now, again. 🙂
