This past weekend I finished the first draft of Episode IV of The Four Years War, the next chapter in the Axanar saga. Now as most of you remember, Prelude to Axanar is episode III in The Four Years War documentary. Well, when we agreed to the settlement with CBS & Paramount, we agreed to abide by the Star Trek Fan Film Guidelines. And that means we get two 15 minute episodes, or a total of 30 minutes of Axanar.
Now some people say “What story can you tell in 15 minutes?” Well, we did a pretty good job telling a story in the 20 minutes that are Prelude to Axanar. And now we have 50% more time to tell the story of the Battle of Axanar and the Axanar Peace conference. I think that is pretty good. And I can tell you now, that having written the first 15 pages (1 page of script is roughly one minute of film), we tell a lot of story.
So now the team has the script and is reading it and giving me notes. I have also given the script to a couple of our biggest fans for their reaction and so far they have loved it! And what will you see in this script? Well, I can’t tell you yet, but you will see a new Admiral (an Andorian!), new captains (including a Vulcan and a female Andorian) and the crew of the USS Ares!
So stay tuned for more info when I finish part V, which I hope to have done in the next 10 days.

Sounds great. Can’t wait. No outsider will stop us. LLAP
