I arrived in London, which does not look exactly like the above image from Star Trek Into Darkness! At least, not yet. And I couldn’t find the Section 31 archive. I settled in to the London Doubletree (which I got a great deal on through Hotwire.com, which I always use). After a quick shower and a change of clothes, it was off to see Sam Cockings of Trekyards. If you don’t watch Trekyards, it is a great little show that is all about the ships of Star Trek. Sam and his partner Stuart, have done over 200 episodes, all available on Youtube.
Sam and I met at what has now become the official Axanar/Trekyards London haunt, The Euston Flyer, which is opposite the St. Pancra train station. We had fish and chips of course, and chatted Star Trek. I mean, what do you expect?
This trip is already turning out to be a good, relaxing break.

So did you discuss U.S.S. Ares specs? Of course you did! So would a less-than-15-minute fan film walkthru of the Ares (in-Axanar-universe, maybe a Starfleet Academy training film?) be considered far enough afield that it’s not part of the 2-episode limit from the Fan Film guidelines? I’m still not sure what a 2-“episode” limit means anyway. No repeating characters? No repeating starships? No repeating plot points? What the heck does it mean?
