Today was a hectic day which started after my daily workout with a meeting with Line Producer Mike DeMerritt to discuss a ton of stuff around shooting, budgets, make up and sets. We checked out the bridge as it is developing and discussed its location in our facility.
I had to leave at 2:00 to get home, shower, change and pack for Star Wars Celebration. Diana and I headed down to meet Axanar Consulting producer Charles De Lauzirika and Digital Bits Founder/Editor Bill Hunt. OK, it wasn’t for Axanar really, but we wound up talking the upcoming Blu-ray release and the super deluxe Blu Ray 4 disc set we are going to make available after we finish the movie. (Soundtrack CD, Prelude disk, Axanar disk, Special Features disk). And the special features will have about 3 hours of behind-the-scenes content. We are trying to get Charlie, the # 1 Blu-ray producer in Hollywood, and Cliff Stephenson (who does Blu-rays like Hannibal) to both contribute. Along with Rob Burnett, that is three of the top Blu-ray guys in Hollywood (and that doesn’t even count our two A-list Blu-ray designers who are doing the actual production). We absolutely a team any feature film would be lucky to have.
Oh, it will be so awesome….
Woohoo !!! Getting better every day, even when it doesn’t seem possible … I got a small idea of one of the perks of the next KickStarter 😉

4 DISC BLU-RAY SET!!!
I am anticipating something Criterion Level amazing with all of the trimmings. This set will truly be a thing of beauty and may be a crowning achievement for Axanar.
