Day 1 at Treklanta was easy as it didn’t start till 6:00pm. So my good buddy John Eaton, who I have known for 20 years and started Auctionworks, my first technology company with me, and I headed off to lunch. After which we got a cake from A Piece of Cake, the world’s best cake bakery, and then hit My Parent’s Basement, a bar/comic book store that may make me move to Decatur Georgia it was so cool! We also hit the first ever Waffle House, which is now a museum, and then set up at the convention.
The Axanar panel was scheduled for 10:45pm! UGH. But you know what? It was a great panel and everyone wanted to know about the lawsuit of course. It was so nice to meet so many nice people who love Axanar. The amount of love for the project is so overwhelming, and really keep everything in perspective.
More tomorrow!
