The Star Trek: Axanar crew is proud to announce that Tony Todd will be playing Admiral Ramirez in our short film, Prelude to Axanar.   Tony is best known to Star Trek fans as "Kurn", Worf's brother, or as older Jake Sisko in the DS9 epsiode "The Visitor". "Tony brings serious gravitas to Axanar." said Executive Producer Alec Peters. "Tony's character of Admiral Ramirez is the head of Starfleet and I wanted someone who you could believe was leading Starfleet in a war.  I was tired of the same old stereotype of what a Starfleet admiral was and wanted someone who when he stood next to Garth, you could believe that Garth looked up to and respected Ramirez without question." Tony will be playing Admiral Ramirez in the upcoming "Prelude to Axanar" short film that shoots the first week of May. Kurn
