Saturday, June 17th, 2017 This past week the Babylon 5 family lost another member as Stephen Furst passed from complications from Diabetes.  While most people know Stephen as "Flounder" in Animal House, us geeks remember Stephen for his portrayal of Vir Cotto in Babylon 5.  I also remember him in St. Elsewhere", the amazing 80's TV series that really set the stage for subsequent hospital dramas like E.R. and Grey's Anatomy.  How can we forget that amazing line where Londo called his assistant, Vir Cotto a "moon faced assassin of joy"!  Vir was the bumbling assistant to Londo that subsequently succeeded him as Emperor of the Centauri people. Here is one of the best scenes in Babylon 5 from the final episode.  I think it really shows the complete arc of this wonderful character, and a fitting homage to the series.

So RIP to a wonderful actor who enriched us all with his work.
