While Star Trek New Voyages was represented by Treklanta co-promoter Brian Halloway, the only other award winner in attendance was Potemkin (Starship Tristan), which supported the awards last year as well. Star Trek Renegades, which won 7 awards sent nobody, nor did Star Trek Continues, which won 5 awards. The latter is even based in Georgia, but didn't feel the event was worth even sending one person to accept their awards.
I can say, that as always, Axanar leads the way in supporting other fan film projects and we sponsored the awards this year and had a presence at the event. Thanks to Eric Watts for giving us this opportunity to help promote Star Trek fan films everywhere.
