Captain’s Log – Nov 10-11th, 2015

Tuesday, Nov. 10th – Wednesday, Nov. 11th, 2015

Tuesday morning started with a visit from Gigi Edgley of Farscape fame.  She is very excited about Axanar and we are trying to see if we have a part for her.  She brought her geek boyfriend Jed with her and he enjoyed all the geek ware in the office and the sets.

After our meeting with Gigi, I had lunch with my good friend and Axanar producer Charlie Lauzirika.  Charlie is a very accomplished producer/director and one of my closest advisers.

Then I headed home.  With over 250 emails at one point this past weekend, I had to get my email under control.  That works best when I don’t do anything but answer my emails.  And I do that best at home as there are no distractions.  So many emails are a big stress as it means that there is work not getting done.  So I took most of Tuesday and all of Wednesday at home.

That also means I go get Boomer from Diana’s apartment and bring him over to my place.  He loves the company, and so do I.  Besides, he is so fluffy!

Diana told me she finished all shipping for the Prelude to Axanar Kickstarter (except tunics of course) and she will be done with the PayPal and Retro Prelude packages this week.  Now THAT is exciting.

Wednesday I spent the whole day working on emails from home and took off for midday coffee with my friend Vince Talenti.  Vince is a talented young director and we are planning to work together.  He has a very exciting project I will be sharing with you all soon.
