Well, today is all about the Green Screen, which Dean and Dominic are nearing the end of their work on. And it is a massive green screen, the biggest in Santa Clarita Valley and one of the biggest permanent green screens in LA!
The cyclorama is the hardest part of the green screen as you have to bend the dry wall material to round it out. And that is a pain in the butt! You basically soak the dry wall and then bend and nail it to the frame.
The worst of it, was the corner, and it practically killed Dean. As you cut the dry wall in strips, which you then bend and shape.
More on the studio build coming!

That is absolutely awesome work! You guys are doing a great job at building out the studio! I guess this means that Ares will be able to sustain other projects that will help generate income for the Studio and eventually make it self sustaining?
Yes, exactly.
Oh dear god, I know all about rounding drywall… Was thrown into the fire to do it on the new staircase in our home. The inside curvature was very tight. Good work, all of you! You have no idea how bad I wish I was closer – I think Dean would find me to be a very helpful hand 🙂
Wow guys – GREAT work. The team dedication to this project is amazing!
