Last night Diana, PR Director Mike Bawden and I had dinner with legendary illustrator Dave Dorman. Mike is friends with Dave who is a Star Trek fan. We had a wonderful time chatting about Dave’s career, his prolific Star Wars work, digital vs physical painting, Sci Fi, the entertainment industry and Dave’s work on “Debt of Honor” the Star Trek graphic novel of 20 years ago.
So I am very proud to say that Dave is interested in doing a movie poster for Axanar. Now THAT is great news! I am a huge fan of illustration artists like James Bama (Doc Savage) and Bob Peak (the father of the American movie poster). Dave is that quality.
